Forget anything you new about the traditional Easter Egg (with those awful pastel colors!) and take a stab at the traditional Urkanian Egg decorating technique called Pysanky. You will never look at your fried egg the same way when you see what can be done with this little oval object!

I'm from Ukraine and I am pleased that you think our Pysanky are beautiful. In fact there are many kinds of Pysanky: krashanki, krapanki, dryapalky. A pattern depends on what area of Pysanky.
